While I was in college, I wasn't that much of a fan of the home team...barring the national championship win. But now I've been out for a while, and am making the money needed to afford being a fan, I've had a lot of fun.
And unique experiences.
The first, and still greatest, was the overnight road trip with my brother to the Gator Bowl on New Year's Day a few years ago. Drive down, watch game, drive back, show up to work the next day.
The latest: A New Year's Eve party that started at 10:30a.m. since our bowl game was on at 11a.m. - and still being coherent at midnight. That might just be more old age and experience, rather than any kind of personal restraint.
